The ZKTeco EP10C is an all-weather, multi-technology smart reader designed for robust outdoor access control applications. It supports over 100 RFID card types across multiple frequencies, including 125 kHz, 13.56 MHz (ISO14443A types A & B, ISO15693), and 2.4 GHz Bluetooth, enabling compatibility with a wide range of credentials. The device features both RFID and Bluetooth functionalities, offering versatile access options. Its compact design is suitable for mullion-mount door installations or any flat surface mounting, with optional single-gang box configurations to accommodate various installation environments.
Built to withstand harsh conditions, the EP10C boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, IK10 certification for vandal resistance, and compliance with the UL94-V0 flame-retardancy standard. It operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -22°F to 158°F (-30°C to 70°C), ensuring reliable performance in diverse climates. The reader communicates via Wiegand (up to 128 bits SCP secure communication) or OSDP (v2.2) through RS485, ensuring secure data transmission. Additional features include configurable RGB LEDs and an internal buzzer with adjustable intensity, both manageable via the ‘Armatura Connect’ mobile app. The EP10C also incorporates a magnetic tamper detection system for enhanced security.
